I thought that I may as well put some photos from a few of our previous weddings and shoots up here to pretty it up a bit... so the next few blogs will be from last year :)
So...my first ever post...how exciting! Since being inspired by so many amazing photographers out there with just as inspiring blogs, I decided "I gotta get me one of them!" - so here I am :)
Well, what better note to start my blog on than a wedding! This was the marriage of Kim & Sarina in the quaint little town of Alstonville. The weather threatened the outdoor beach shoot, but thankfully nothing too much eventuated. The day began with a mixture of nerves and excitement at the girl's headquarters. The Heritage Inn. at Ballina provided such a great place for garden photos of Sarina & the girls. Not to mention a 'cute' laundry sign Sarina just had to have a photo with :)
We then made our way to The Lady of the Rosary Catholic Church in Alstonville. Soooo Cute, just fantastic for photos! I especially love the gorgeous feature wallpaper.
Then we set off to Boulders Beach and the Ballina lighthouse for bridal party photos. On the way back to the reception we pulled in for a quick 'traffic stopping shot' down the main street of Ballina - such fun!
When we arrived at the reception I totally fell in LOVE with the decor! The function room at the Ballina RSL was absolutely stunning, decorated with a chic victorian theme. I wish my house looked like that!
We had a great time with everything running smoothly, even if we were a little on edge with the clouds building above :)
You guys really do make such a cute husband and wife, thanks for letting us share in your special day! xo

Well...these 'about me' sections always seem to find me stumped, so I'll just rattle off a few of my favorite things...
Top of the list is my family and awesome husband Brett, closely followed by chocolate and photography... doing anything with my buddies, taking photos of anything but especially weddings... which leads me to one of my faves, WEDDINGS!!! I just love everything about them, the nervous bride, the fresh flowers, the nice cars, the blissfully in love couple, the pretty little things found in every corner, the anticipation... the list goes on... :)Oh, White! I really love white! It's just so clean and crisp and fresh. Shabby Chic decor and really pretty, intricate things. I love pastel colours and clashing patterns. Glass bottles...My all time favorite tv shows are friends and just about any documentary. WOW, animals! that's a biggie. They are just so innocent and amazing. Driving around exploring new tracks...soko, jack johnson, the entire juno soundtrack...just to name a few :)
